Update 7/6: While Jim Krenn will no longer be hosting the morning show at WLTJ, he will be remaining with the station in a role to be determined. Krenn released a statement on the station’s website stating that he will be stepping back from the morning show but remain with the company in a role described by the Pittsburgh City-Paper as “Ambassador” after taking some time off. He co-hosts Mike Wysocki and Chris K. have departed the station.
Original Report 7/5: Steel City Media Hot AC “Q92.9” WLTJ Pittsburgh is undergoing some changes.
A year after hiring former Rock 102.5 WDVE morning host Jim Krenn for the same duties, Krenn and the rest of the morning show have exited the station. WLTJ is currently running jockless and now promoting itself as “Pittsburgh’s 10 In A Row Station”.
The bios for all jocks have been wiped from the station website, although PD/Afternoon Host Zak Szabo is still listed on the station’s contact page.
One has to wonder if a certain station at 96.1 is paying attention to this…
….why?
