[membership level="2,3"] Radio-One is seeking a waiver or flexibility over two translator applications after getting their filings mixed up. Chief Administrative Officer Linda Vilardo states in an FCC filing that the company mistakenly filed in May to move 104.1 W281AW Petersburg VA to 103.1 in Washington DC where it would rebroadcast Gospel 1340 WYCB. Radio-One intended to move 103.7 W279AN South Boston VA to DC on 103.1 even though that translator already had a CP through the AM revitalization waiver period to move to 102.7 in Petersburg. Both W281AW's license an W279AN's CP both specified 1240 WTPS Petersburg as originating station. Radio-One is looking for a waiver allowing it withdraw W281AW's application to move to Washington and a cancellation of W279AN's CP to move to Petersburg to substitute a move to 103.1 Washington or to dismiss both while allowing W279AN to file a new application to move although they also filed a license to cover for that one (making it W274BX) on the same day. Radio-One concedes they have lost the ability to file a second Revitalization application for WTPS, but haven't they done the same for WYCB?
AM Changes
Kona Coast Radio applies to relocate Silent 1570 KVAM Loveland/Fort Collins CO to a new tower site on Milner Mountain where it would change facilities from 7kW day/18w nights to 1kW day/40w nights.
FM Changes
After its 2014 application to move "Bluff Country 103.5" KNEI-FM Waukon IA to a new tower site on the Iowa/Minnesota state line was dismissed last month for failure to prosecute, Wennes Communications reapplies for the move seeking 41kW/164m as opposed to 50kW/150m.
