Trey Morgan Joins KPLX Mornings

Trey Morgan Fresh 102.7 WNEW 99.5 The Wolf KPLX DallasTrey Morgan is exiting afternoons at CBS Hot AC “Fresh 102.7” WNEW New York for mornings at Cumulus Country “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX Dallas.

Morgan will join fellow New York transplant Lisa Taylor on the “Wake Up With The Wolf” show. Prior to joining WNEW in August 2015, Morgan hosted late nights at “Z100” WHTZ New York and was APD/MD/Midday host at “Alt 98.7” KYSR Los Angeles. His WNEW co-host Ghia quietly exited in July.

Morgan replaces Skip Mahaffey, who left in August to join Educational Media Foundation’s Christian AC “K-Love“.

Cumulus Media announces that it has named on-air personality Trey Morgan as Co-Host, Mornings on 99.5 The Wolf/KPLX in Dallas/Fort Worth. Morgan joins longtime 99.5 The Wolf morning co-host Lisa Taylor on the Wake Up with the Wolf morning show weekdays from 5AM-10AM CST, debuting Monday, October 31, 2016. Morgan comes to Cumulus Media-Dallas Fort Worth from CBS Radio-New York City, where he was Host, Afternoons on Fresh 102.7 (WNEW-FM). Prior to that, Morgan was on the air in Los Angeles and at WHTZ in New York.
