iHeart Launches Santa 104.1 San Francisco

Santa 104.1 K281BU KISQ-HD2 San FranciscoiHeartMedia has debuted a sixth FM signal in San Francisco with the launch of 104.1 K281BU.

Launching as “Santa 104.1“, the new Educational Media Foundation owned translator is being operated by iHeart via its 98.1 KISQ-HD2 San Francisco and is running commercial-free through the holidays. K281BU operates with 80w/389m from the tower of 93.3 KRZZ on San Bruno Mountain and basically covers just the city of San Francisco.

  1. is this move to launch a FM signal that covers SF just for the holidays or is it a new signal after the holidays? I wonder if they regret operating the AM signal 910 for ESPN Deportes and dropping the Talk format…

  2. very good point it can be either on for sure and as I listened to FM 104.1 it was clear in most of SF but very scratchy once you hit the crossline between SF and Daly City…
