Alpha Media AC 94.5 KBAY San Jose CA is making a change in mornings.
With Sam Van Zandt retiring, the station has also let go of co-host Lissa Kreisler with the duo doing a farewell show today following 12 years together. The San Jose Mercury News reports that morning hosts from competitors Country 95.3 KRTY and Classical 104.9 KXSC called in to pay tribute.
With new Program Director Ronnie Stanton now in place, KBAY is left with just one on-air host: middayer Jona Denz-Hamilton.
This will probably be the syndicated Brooke and Jubal show’s entry into the Bay Area.
Or KBAY going to a different format. Hopefully not another Bollywood one like what happened with KSJO.
Alpha Media just hired a new SVP/Programming who is also going to serve as PD of KBAY and 106.5 KEZR. Why in the world would they flip it to a brokered format?
