James Coloff is purchasing the shares of Coloff Media he doesn’t own from the rest of his family in a pair of transactions. In the first deal James Coloff will purchase the 50% stake of Coloff Media from his parents Anthony and Susan Coloff for $2.2 million. The stations involved in the deal are AC “93.5 The Mix” KCVM Evansdale, AC “Mix 94.7” KMCH Manchester, Country “95.1 The Bull” KCZE New Hampton, AC “FM 95.9” KCHA-FM Charles City, “98.7 Kiss Country” KSMA-FM Osage, AC “B103.1” KHAM Britt, Classic Rock “103.7 The Fox” KLKK Clear Lake, Oldies “Cruisin 1250” KCFI Cedar Falls/105.1 K286CI Waverly, Oldies “Fabulous 1580” KCHA Charles City, Sports “1650 The Fan” KCNZ Cedar Falls, and the CP for 106.5 K293CH Waterloo all in Iowa.
In the second transaction Coloff will purchase his father’s 50% share and mother’s 1% share in Pilot Knob Broadcasting’s AC “Mix 107.3” KIOW Forest City IA for $300,000.
Todd Bartley’s Williamsport Lycoming Broadcast Foundation sells 88.1 WPTC Williamsport PA to Educational Media Foundation for $160,000. WPTC has been airing EMF’s “K-Love” programming since Bartley acquired the station from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2013.
Expression Production Group will transfer Christian Preaching 1080 WONS Cannonsburg KY back to former owner Big River Radio for the forgiveness of the remaining $94,174 on its promissory note. Expression purchased WONS in 2014 for $320,000.
Surge Media converts its Time Brokerage Agreement for 710 WEGG Rose Hill NC from Connor Media for $120,000. Surge recently flipped the station from Dance “Surge 100.5” to Urban Oldies “100.5 The Dream“.
Jeff Chang purchases Oldies/Classic Country 1450 KQTE Helendale CA from Deanna Love for $40,000.
North Texas Radio Group acquires Standards 1400 KEBE Jacksonville TX from Chalk Hill Communications for $50,000.
