Cumulus Names Cody Welling Shreveport VP/Market Manager

Welling comes to Shreveport from Cumulus’ Toledo OH/Monroe MI group where we has Director of Sales. He has also served as GSM/Director of Sales for Great Plains Media Bloomington and Local Sales Manager for Cumulus’ “106.5 The Ticket” WTOD-FM Toledo.

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Cody Welling as Vice President/Market Manager for the company’s five radio stations in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA. Welling rises from the Director of Sales role for Cumulus Media’s eight-station cluster in Toledo/Monroe, OH, where he previously served as General Sales Manager. Prior to that, Welling was General Sales Manager and Director of Sales for Great Plains Media in Bloomington/Normal, IL, and was Local Sales Manager for ESPN Radio in Toledo. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Marketing from Ashland University.
