iHeartMedia’s Premiere Networks continues to roll-out the syndicated Woody Show to Alternative stations within the company.
After announcing the addition of affiliates in Bakersfield and Des Moines last week, Premiere has now announced the additions of “Alt 106.7” WDTW-FM Detroit, “Alt 103.3” WOLT Indianapolis and “Alt 107.3” KTHR Wichita. KTHR debuted the program this past Monday, December 8 while WDTW-FM will begin carrying the program on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
iHeartMedia’s ALT 106.7, Detroit’s New Alternative, announced today the debut of The Woody Show, effective January 3, 2018. The top-rated morning show will broadcast Monday through Friday, 6 – 10 a.m. ET.
The Woody Show is highly-interactive, socially-engaging appointment radio. Featuring Woody, along with co-hosts Ravey, Greg Gory, Menace and Sebas, The Woody Show is described by listeners as “authentic,” “raw,” “unapologetic” and “recess/happy hour on the radio.” In 2016, the popular program was a NAB Marconi Radio Award finalist for “Major Market Personality of the Year,” and it was launched into national syndication by Premiere Networks in 2017. Fans can follow the show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“I was convinced that I must have been pocket-dialed, because there was NO WAY that we would be asked to do mornings on the new ALT 106.7,” said Woody. “But I wasn’t. Clearly, it was a drunk dial. Endless thanks to Casey Krukowski, Gene Romano, Tony Travatto and Lisa Worden for being #ALLIN on The Woody Show!”
“We’re really excited to bring The Woody Show to Detroit,” said Tony Travatto, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming, iHeartMedia Detroit. “The show is real and funny and we think it’s a perfect fit for ALT 106.7. To add Woody to an all-star lineup of talent in Detroit, like Mojo In The Morning, Jay Towers In The Morning, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and The Breakfast Club, is really going to be special for our clients and listeners.”

“We want to apologize to Mike Killabrew and Gene Romano for our non-stop phone calls and shameless begging,” said Woody. “That said, we thank them for caving in, believing our lies, and giving us this amazing opportunity on ALT 103.3!”
“We are excited to have The Woody Show in Indy!” said Mike Killabrew, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Indianapolis. “We love providing great content in morning drive, and that’s exactly what this show does.”
