Veteran programmer Gary Nolan is returning to Cumulus Media as PD/Midday host at Hot AC “Q97.3” KQHN Waskom TX/Shreveport LA.
Nolan previously programmed for Cumulus in Kansas City MO and served as Operations Manager for their Pensacola FL cluster prior to joining iHeartMedia as PD of AC 99.5 WMAG Greensboro NC in August 2016 but being let go in regional cuts this summer. Nolan has also programmed ACs 101.1 KOSI Denver, 106.9 KWRM Seattle, 102.9 WLTE Minneapolis, and 106.7 WLTW New York during his career.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed veteran radio programming professional Gary Nolan as Program Director and Midday On-Air Host for KQHN-FM/Q97.3, Shreveport’s all-new Hot AC station. Nolan joins Cumulus Media-Shreveport/Bossier City from WMAG-FM in Greensboro, NC. He brings to Cumulus 30 years experience as a Program Director and on-air talent in markets including New York City, Minneapolis, Seattle and Denver. He also previously programmed for Cumulus in Kansas City. Nolan’s appointment is effective January 2, 2018. His Midday show on Q97.3 will air weekdays from 10am-3pm, beginning January 2nd.
