iHeartMedia News/Talk 970 WFLA Tampa is going local in nights with the addition of “PM Tampa Bay” hosted by Ryan Gorman on Monday, March 5.
The new show will air from 6-9pm replacing the syndicated Todd Schnitt, who will continue to air on sister 1250 WHNZ from 3-6pm. Gorman, who had a long run in music radio including afternoon host at 97.9 WFKS Jacksonville and 103.5 WKSC Chicago and morning co-host at 95.7 WKSS Hartford, had been working for WFLA as a weekend and podcast host. He previously hosted a political talk show at 960 WELI New Haven CT and contributes to 610 WIOD Miami.
970 WFLA, Tampa Bay’s News Radio, announced today the debut of the new “PM Tampa Bay Show” hosted by Ryan Gorman, effective Monday March 5. “PM Tampa Bay” will broadcast weekdays from 6-9 p.m.
The live and local program will cover the day’s biggest news stories and hot topics impacting the Tampa Bay area. As a politically independent millennial, Ryan will bring a unique and fresh perspective to the airwaves, appealing to fans of all ages and all across the entire political spectrum. Ryan will also continue to host “The Best of the Bay” program which airs each weekend across all iHeartMedia Tampa Bay radio stations.
