Michael Holley Exits Afternoons At WEEI Boston

John Dennis 93.7 WEEI-FM Boston Callahan MinihaneMichael Holley is departing as afternoon co-host at Entercom Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM Lawrence/Boston MA.

Holley announced that today is his final day at the station as he is departing for a full-time position NBC Sports Network Boston. He has hosted “Celtics Now” for the network since 2008. Entercom Boston Market Manager Mark Hannon states that Holley turned down a multi-year contract extension with WEEI.

Holley joined WEEI in 2005 as midday co-host alongside Dale Arnold. He was moved to afternoons alongside Glenn Ordway in 2011, with Mike Salk becoming his cohost in 2013 and Arnold reteaming with him in 2014 and Rich Keefe later joining the duo. Prior to joining WEEI he served as a newspaper columnist for the Akron Beacon-Journal, Boston Globe, and Chicago Tribune.
