iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 96.1” WHQC Charlotte hs appointed Brooke Morrison as its new afternoon host starting March 26.
Morrison will join WHQC from iHeartMedia Urban “Real 92.3” KRRL Los Angeles where she served as afternoon producer and voicetracker for Rhythmic CHR 99.1 KGGI Riverside and CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ St. Louis.
iHeartMedia announced today that Brooke Morrison has been named Afternoon Personality for Channel 96.1, #1 For All The Hits In Charlotte, effective March 26, 2018. Her show will broadcast weekdays from 2pm to 7pm.
As Afternoon Drive Host, Brooke will play a variety of Top 40 music from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars and others. She will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the station’s social media platforms, and will report to A.J., Program Director for Channel 96.1.

Morrison joins Charlotte from iHeartMedia Los Angeles, where she most recently served as the producer for Nina Chantele on Real 92.3. She also hosted Overnights and Weekends for iHeartMedia Riverside’s 99.1 KGGI, and Afternoons on Z107.7 for iHeartMedia St. Louis. She began her career at iHeartMedia Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of Missouri.

Dan Cheatham is out as afternoon host with Jenna Rae moving from middays to afternoons to fill his opening. Pacey moves from weekends to middays. He joined KNCI last year after departing as morning host at iHeartMedia Classic Hip-Hop “V101.1” KHYL in a round of cutbacks last May.
Alpha Media Classic Hip-Hop “G102.3” WNGY Peoria has added the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio for nights.
Alpha Media, Peoria announced Tino Cochino will air weeknights, 6PM-10PM on G 102.3 (WNGY).
G 102.3 Program Director, Scott Ehlke commented on the announcement, “We are very excited to continue to piece the radio station together. Adding Tino and the gang to nights is the next step to success!”
