Luis Jimenez Out At X96.3 New York

Luis Jimenez X96.3 WXNY New York UnivisionLuis Jimenez’s second run in mornings at Univision Spanish CHR “X96.3” WXNY-FM New York has ended after 14 months.

Jimenez, who returned to WXNY in March 2017, has been hosting mornings in the New York market for the last 25 years. He spent 15 years at SBS’ “Mega 97.9” WSKQ until jumping to WXNY predecessor 105.9 WCAA in 2008. Following the move of the station to 96.3 in 2009, he remained there until July 2014 with the show syndicated to other Univision markets. He spent five months at SBS Spanish AC “93.1 Amor” WPAT-FM in 2015 before returning to WXNY in March 2017.

Following Jimenez’ departure from WPAT-FM he launched a paid webcast at LuisNetwork.com, which he then hosted in afternoons following his WXNY show. He has now moved that to 7-10am Monday through Thursday.

At WXNY, DJ Chris Mambo is now hosting mornings with middays jockless.
