With the flip of Rhythmic CHR “Power 95.3” WPYO Maitland/Orlando to CHR on Friday, Steve DeMann has exited his position of Operations Manager for the Cox Media Group Orlando cluster after ten and a half years. Prior to joining Cox in September 2007, DeMann spent two terms at “102 Jamz” 101.9 WJHM in the market including PD from 2001-2007. He has also worked on air at “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN Boston and “92Q” WERQ Baltimore.
With the addition of former 98.5 KVOO Tulsa APD/MD/Afternoon host Krystina Carlyle for as MD/Morning co-host today, Pamal Broadcasting Country “100.9 The Cat” WKLI-FM Albany NY is making another change as incumbent morning host Kevin Richards moves to middays, while midday host Pete Kelly joins the newly minted ‘KC Carlyle’ in mornings.
The syndicated Tino Cochino Radio based at Riviera Broadcasting Rhythmic “Power 98.3/96.1” KKFR Phoenix has added Jackie Hollywood as its new co-host. She joins the show from San Francisco where she Assistant Producer for the “Fernando & Greg” morning show at Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ San Francisco and voicetracked afternoons at Dimes Media Rhythmic CHR “Wild 106.1” KWWV San Luis Obispo. She replaces Milli Rodriguez who returned to college full-time.
Entercom Country 95.1 KFRG San Bernardino CA has added Kyle Matthews as Imaging Director and 12-3pm host. Matthews joins KFRG from NRG Media in Lincoln NE where he served as PD/MD/Afternoon host at CHR “Red 94.5” K233AN and midday host at Country “Froggy 98.1” KFGE.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, announced the appointment of Kyle Matthews to the on-air team at K-FROG (KFRG-FM) in Riverside. Matthews will host the station’s show from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST as well as oversee imaging. His first day on the air will be May 3.
