Cumulus Media has made a pair of appointments at its Detroit cluster.
Marty Wall joins the cluster as Director of Marketing for Country “Nash-FM 93.1” WDRQ and Hot AC 96.3 WDVD. Wall spent the past two decades in Los Angeles working in television and advertising, but previously served as Promotions Director for WHTZ and WQHT New York and WRQX Washington DC in the 1980s.
Josh ‘Bru’ Brubaker has been promoted to Local Anchor for the “Ty, Kelly and Chuck” morning show on WDRQ. Brubaker had been serving as a production assistant and weekend host for the station since last year.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed veteran radio and television marketing executive Marty Wall as Director of Marketing, Cumulus Media-Detroit. Wall, a three time Billboard Magazine Radio Promotion Director of the Year recipient, brings more than 20 years experience to the cluster and will oversee all marketing initiatives for Country radio stations WDRQ/NASH FM 93.1 and NASH ICON/WDRQ-HD2, as well as Hot AC station 96.3 WDVD.

After 20 years in Los Angeles working for top creative agencies and both domestic and international television networks, Wall recently returned to his hometown of Detroit to be closer to family. He credits much of his career success to mentors including Scott Shannon, Steve Kingston, Pat Martin and Alan Burns. Wall’s radio experience includes five years at Z100 in New York, the launch of WQHT Hot 97 in New York, and WRQX/Q107 in Washington, D.C.
Beasley Media Group has appointed Tim Robisch has Director of Sales for its Las Vegas cluster. He joins the company from Great Plains Media’s Lawrence KS cluster where he served as Regional Manager. He previously has served as General Manager for Susquehanna Media Kansas City, General Sales Manager for Entercom Norfolk and Cox Media Orlando, and Regional VP for Katz Media Group.
Beasley Media Group, LLC; a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Tim Robisch has been named as the new Director of Sales for the company’s six station radio cluster, including KCYE-FM, KKLZ-FM, KDWN-FM, LITE 105.1FM, KOAS-FM and KVGS-FM in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will begin his new position on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018
Robisch most recently served as the Regional Manager for Great Plains Media in suburban Kansas City, In addition, he held sales and management positons with Cox Media Group, Entercom Communications, Susquehanna Radio Corporation and Katz Radio, where he served as a served Regional Vice President. His prior experience with Susquehanna and Great Plains included oversight of sports marketing and sales partnerships with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals and the University of Kansas.

iHeartMedia has appointed Khatija Mohiuddin as General Sales Manager for CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC and Urban 107.5 WGCI Chicago and Brian McGhee for the same duties at Urban AC “V103” 102.7 WVAZ and Gospel “Inspiration 1390” WGRB.
iHeartMedia Chicago announced today that Khatija Mohiuddin has been named General Sales Manager for 107.5 WGCI, Chicago’s No. 1 for Hip Hop and R&B, and 103.5 KISS FM, Chicago’s No. 1 Hit Music Station; and Brian McGhee has been named General Sales Manager for V103, Today’s R&B and Throwbacks, and Inspiration 1390, Music of Power and Praise, effective May 21. Both positions will report to Adam Kurtz, Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region.

Mohiuddin most recently served as Local Sales Manager for 107.5 WGCI and Inspiration 1390. Prior to returning to iHeartMedia Chicago in 2016, she served as an Account Executive at WTMX-FM in Chicago. Mohiuddin began her sales career with iHeartMedia’s 93.9 LITE FM in 2005.

McGhee, a Waukegan, IL native, has previously held Account Executive and General Sales Manager positions for Max Media in Carbondale. He has also worked as an Account Executive for iHeartMedia Nashville.
