Trevor Morini has been Program Director for iHeartMedia CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI Georgetown/Austin TX and Alternative “Alt 97.5” K248CU Austin.
Morini transfers from iHeartMedia’s “92.1 The Beat” KTBT Tulsa where he served as PD/Afternoon Host since 2015. Prior to that Morini worked at Cumulus Media Providence where he worked his way up from weekends to APD/Afternoon host at “Hot 106.3” WWKX.
iHeartMedia Austin announced today that Trevor Morini has been named Program Director for 96.7 KISS FM (KHFI FM), Austin’s #1 Hit Music Station and Alt 97.5 (KASE FM HD2) effective immediately. The radio station brand has a strong cross-platform presence and features popular on air personalities including “The Billy the Kidd Show,” EJ, and Hannah O.
Morini will be responsible for the day-to-day programming operations of both 96.7 KISS FM and Alt 97.5. He will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the stations’ on-air and digital content, and music programming. Morini will report to Brian Gann, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio.

Morini has been with iHeartMedia for 3 years, most recently serving as Program Director and afternoon drive host for 92.1 The Beat in Tulsa. He began his career in radio on Cape Cod and has previously worked as Assistant Program Director and on air personality at Cumulus’s Hot 106 in Providence.“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to work with the great team in Austin and can’t wait to get started!” said Morini. “I can’t thank Don Cristi and Jon Phillips enough for everything they’ve done for me in Tulsa.
