iHeartMedia has appointed Jeanne Smith as Market President for its Quad Cities IA/IL cluster.
Smith comes to the Quad Cities from Cedar Rapids IA where she served as Senior VP/Sales for the company. She has also previously worked in sales for Cumulus Media in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre PA.

iHeartMedia announced today that Jeanne Smith has been named Market President for the Quad Cities, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Quad Cities has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing seven stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Market President, Smith will oversee the market’s programming, advertising and operations across multiple platforms within the Quad Cities, creating new business and revenue opportunities. She will report to Joel McCrea, Area President for iHeartMedia Des Moines.
Smith joins the Quad Cities market from iHeartMedia Cedar Rapids, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales. Prior to her time with iHeartMedia Cedar Rapids, Smith worked in Radio sales in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania for Cumulus Media. She is a graduate of the Journalism School at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
