PB Radio has swapped format locations for two of its four stations in Pine Bluff AR.
Urban “101.3 The Beat” KPBA Pine Bluff has moved to the 99.3 signal that was previously home to “Super Oldies 99.3” KHUC. The Oldies format moves to the stronger Class C3 facility with a rebranding. The newly minted “Oldies 101.3” comes with new KDPX call letters to match the “Deltaplex News” moniker the cluster is branding itself with.
99.3 KHUC (soon to receive the KPBA calls) is a Class A operating with 6kW/46m. 101.3 KDPX operates as a Class C3 with 13.5kW/137m.
Mike Horne’s PB Radio took control of the former Bluff City Radio via LMA from Paul Coates & Mike Huckabee in April. The frequency swap is the first major move since then. Classic Country “98.1 The Hog” KTPB Altheimer and Hot AC “104.5 K-Train” KTRN White Hall remain as-is.
