After exiting his position as Market Manager for NRG Media’s Cedar Rapids IA stations earlier this month, Jack Taddeo is joining Cumulus Media as VP/Market Manager for their Des Moines IA cluster.
Taddeo has previously served in many programming and management roles during his career including programming 93.9 WLIT Chicago, serving as SVP/Programming for SFX Broadcasting, Capstar, and Clear Channel, and General Manager for Entercom Norfolk and NextMedia and Matrix Broadcasting in suburban Chicago. He has also owned stations in Illinois and Wisconsin and ran his own consultancy.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed radio broadcasting executive Jack Taddeo as Vice President/Market Manager of the company’s five-station group in Des Moines, IA. Taddeo joins Cumulus from NRG Media, where he was Market Manager of NRG Media-Cedar Falls/Cedar Rapids, IA. He brings deep radio broadcast management experience to Cumulus Media-Des Moines, including 15 years as an owner/operator of radio stations in the Midwest U.S., and over 15 years’ experience as a General Manager and radio programming executive.
Taddeo was General Manager for Matrix LLC Chicago (formerly Nextmedia Group), and for 10 years, he consulted radio broadcasters across the U.S. as Owner/President of Radio K-T Inc. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Programming, for Clear Channel Radio/iHeartMedia, after serving as Senior Vice President, Programming, for SFX/Capstar Broadcasting. Taddeo’s radio programming career also includes stops as Program Director, WLIT, Chicago, IL; Director of Contemporary Programming, Studioline Digital Cable; and Program Director, WLAK, Chicago, IL.
