After departing Adams Media Country “Your Country K107.7” WKHI Salisbury MD when its format was dropped last month, Larry ‘Big Red’ Wnorowski is joining NRG Media Country “Y106.5” WYTE Wausau WI as PD/Morning host. Wnorowski fills the opening created by John Harry’s exit in April.
Brett Holcomb is departing his position as Operations Manager for University of Florida’s Country “103.7 The Gator” WRUF-FM, Sports “ESPN 98.1” 850 WRUF, and CHR “95.3 GHQ” W237EJ/89.1 WUFT-HD3 Gainesville FL to join the University of South Florida’s Public News/Talk 89.7 WUSF Tampa and Classical 89.1 WSMR Sarasota/103.9 W280DW Tampa as Assistant Program Director.
Amber Stone has announced her impending departure from mornings at Adams Radio AC “103.9 Sunny-FM” WWFW and middays at CHR “Hot 107.9” WJFX Fort Wayne IN. Stone’s final day on-air will be Monday, September 24.
Entercom and Cumulus Media’s Westwood One Podcast Network have teamed up to produce the “RPO” podcast hosted by CBS Sports Radio’s Jim Rome former NFL defensive lineman Trevor Pryce. Standing for “Rome Pryor Opinion”, the podcast will run ever Monday for the next 20 weeks through the Super Bowl.
Mark Rider has joined Entercom Alternative “104.3 The Shark” WSFS-FM Miami as imaging voice. Rider’s VO work has also been picked up by CBS Sports Network for “MONDAY QB” airing Mondays at 6pm through the football season.
