iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT Charlotte NC has appointed Sarah Lee as morning co-host.
Sarah Lee began her career in the Charlotte market as an intern on the syndicated Ace & TJ Show and later served as a morning co-host for “96.1 The Beat” WIBT Charlotte, “Wild 94.1” WLLD Tampa, and for Nick Cannon’s morning show on “92.3 Now” WNOW-FM New York. She most recently served as artist social media manager for Black River Entertainment.
She will accompany Paul Schadt for “Paul Schadt and Sarah Lee in the Morning” starting Monday, October 15.
iHeartMedia announced today that Sarah Lee has been named morning drive co-host for 96.9 The Kat, Charlotte’s #1 for New Country, effective October 15th. Lee will broadcast on Paul Schadt and Sarah Lee in the Morning weekdays from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., beginning October 22nd.
Lee joins Country Radio Hall of Famer Paul Schadt to bring the latest country music hits from the biggest stars, blending music and family-friendly, fun conversation. She will report to Meg Stevens, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Virginia-Carolina Region and Program Director of 96.9 The Kat.

Lee joins the Charlotte market from Black River Entertainment, where she most recently served as an artist social media manager. In addition, she also served as on-air talent for several radio stations including, WRJY, the former WNOW and WNYL. Lee began her career as an intern for CBS Radio’s syndicated Ace & TJ Show in Charlotte, NC.
