Cumulus Media Conservative Talk 630 WMAL/105.9 WMAL-FM and Hot AC “Mix 107.3” WRQX Washington DC had to evacuate their studios this afternoon following the arrival of a suspicious package addressed to some of WMAL’s hosts.
Washington police ordered the building evacuated around 4:00pm and gave the all-clear to return a little before 6:00. The scare follows a series of pipe bombs sent to CNN and others who have criticized President Trump this week, but WMAL afternoon host Larry O’Connor tweeted, “Though it does not look like the other packages we have seen the past day or two, there were some similarities. DC police examined it and immediately ordered full evacuation.” An image of the package can be seen at WMAL.com.

I saw the package mailed to @WMALDC.
Though it does not look like the other packages we have seen the past day or two, there were some similarities. DC police examined it and immediately ordered full evacuation.
