FCC Actions
The FCC has fined Iglesia Centro de Liberacion’s 92.5 KJJG-LP South Houston TX $5,000 for premature construction.
The application was filed in January 2017 seeking to relocate to a new facility with a second adjacent channel waiver to 92.1 KROI Seabrooke and 92.9 KKBQ Pasadena. Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna, which owns 92.5 K223CW Houston filed a Petition to Deny alleging the premature construction of the new facility prior to the application being filed with the FCC with photographic proof and then a few days later supplemented it with photos of the antenna having been removed. In issuing the penalty against KJJG-LP, the FCC has approved the application and its necessary waiver.
