Bristol Broadcasting has acquired Classic Hits 102.5 WOLD-FM Marion VA from T.E.C.O. Broadcasting for $165,000. T.E.C.O. reacquired WOLD-FM and 103.5 WZVA last November for cancellation of the $651,039 promissory note owed by CDM Broadcasting. WZVA was then sold to Bristol in March for $200,000 and then flipped from Country to CHR “Hot 103.5” in July.
Bustos Media sells Chinese 890 KTXV Mabank/Dallas TX to James Su’s Dallas Major Radio LLC for $1.8 million. The buyer who operates China Radio International programmed stations in eight additional markets, has been operating KTXV via Time Brokerage Agreement.
Jorge & Ana Suday’s Suday Investment Group will purchase Country 94.1 KDLK-FM and Conservative Talk 1230 KDRN Del Rio TX from Forum Broadcasting for $420,000.
In a deal not yet filed with the FCC, Phoenix AZ attorney Timothy Stratton will acquire Oldies 850 WYLF/93.9 W230CZ Penn Yan NY from Jeff Pearce’s MB Communications for $285,000. George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services served as broker for the buyer.
