In this newly created position, Jenna will manage the digital and social media platforms of each of Cumulus Indianapolis’ station brands (Country WFMS-FM, Classic Hits WJJK-FM, and Top 40 WYRG-FM). She will work collectively with the programming, promotions and sales teams to strategically enlarge Cumulus Indianapolis’ digital footprint while engaging our audience and creating unique opportunities for our advertisers. In addition to her role as Digital Director, Tucker will also be on-air as Midday Personality for WFMS 95.5. Her appointment is effective December 17, 2018.
Tucker joins Cumulus from Bonneville’s New Country 105.1/KNCI-FM in Sacramento, CA, where she was Midday Personality.
“This was quite a process,” said Christopher “Boomer” Layfield, Operations Manager for Cumulus-Indianapolis. “After several months of speaking with some supremely qualified candidates, I just kept coming back to Jenna’s incredible passion and prowess in the social media space and her vision to advance our digital brands, not to mention she sounds great on the air! I simply cannot wait for her to join us in Indy and begin working with our already talented team to elevate our efforts across the board.”
Tucker said: “I’m so excited to get closer to home and work in the city where I learned to love radio…go Greyhounds! If you love Country music, WFMS is the place to be as an On-Air Talent, and I’m incredibly honored to have my voice on the station. Plus, I am a huge believer in the power of digital and can’t wait to elevate the cluster to the next level. Now, where’s a girl go to get the best pizza in Indy?”
