Max Media Country “97.3 The Eagle” WGH-FM Norfolk has announced the debut of “Eagle Mornings with Cash & Carly”.
Using the on-air name of Cash Warren, the male half of the show comes to Norfolk from Alpha Media Country 97.9 KGNC Amarillo TX where he served as Program Director and co-hosted mornings as Jason Kidd. He has also worked in multiple markets across New Mexico and western Texas.
Carly Quinn joins the station from Cumulus Media’s WYFM and WQKX Youngstown OH. The Pittsburgh native has also worked at stations in Arkansas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
The duo fill the opening created by Sean ‘Coop’ Tabler’s exit last fall for Entercom CHR “96.5 TDY” WTDY-FM Philadelphia.
Max Media is proud to announce the addition of Eagle Mornings with Cash & Carly to 97.3 The Eagle. The show will be hosted by the newly created duo of Cash Warren, who comes from KGNC in Amarillo, TX, and Carly Quinn, who most recently worked at WYFM and WQXK in Youngstown, OH.
“I’ve rarely met talent like Cash & Carly. They’re not just fun, funny people; they’re good people with a passion for serving the community. I’m thrilled that they have joined 97.3 The Eagle,” commented Jason Addams, Brand Manager of 97.3 The Eagle.
Cash was raised in southern New Mexico and his radio career has been one successful run after another in New Mexico and Texas. He and his wife Ronnie have 4 children together and are avid supporters of St. Jude and domestic abuse shelters.
“My wife, Ronnie and I are super excited to bring our family to Hampton Roads. We’re looking forward to spending many summers at the beach, eating a ton of great seafood and going to a bunch of awesome concerts! I’m so honored to be on the Eagle morning show. We’re gonna have a whole lotta fun,” remarked Cash.
Carly Quinn was born and raised in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After years as a flight attendant, Carly called the request line of her local radio station and they gave her a job! With morning radio adventures in Pennsylvania, Arkansas and Ohio, Carly brings her humor and experience to Hampton Roads as half of Eagle Mornings with Cash & Carly. She has supported both St. Jude and Ronald McDonald House for nearly two decades. Carly and her husband Jeff have four children and just celebrated their wedding anniversary on St. Patrick’s Day.
“My husband Jeff and I are looking forward to many years here in the Hampton Roads area! What an exciting place, full of energy and kind, hospitable people! Can’t wait to meet everyone and make new lifelong friends,” exclaimed Carly.
