Mikey Fuentes has resigned as Riviera Broadcasting’s Vice President of Programming to focus on his other position as Director of Affiliate Relations for the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio. Fuentes had been overseeing Hot AC “Hot 97.5/103.9” KMVA/KZON and Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3/96.1” KKFR/K241BQ in the Phoenix market.
Fuentes rejoined Riviera in 2011 as Program Director in 2011 after previously working for the company in the mid 2000’s. He has also served as Director of Programming for Impact Radio Group Boise and programmed in Albuquerque and Riverside/San Bernardino. Tino Cochino Radio originates at KKFR where Cochino serves as the morning host.
With Fuentes’ exit, Marc Young is taking over the Program Director reins for KMVA/KZON in addition to his role as Operations Manager for the cluster and PD of Classic Hits “94.9/95.1 The Oasis” KOAI/K235CB. APD/MD DJ Complex is serving as interim PD of KKFR.
Cumulus Media Classic Hip-Hop “OG 97.9” W250BC/WWWQ-HD3 Atlanta has added the syndicated Rick & Sasha morning show Westwood One debuted the program in January.
Sasha previously hosted afternoons at Cox Media Group Urban AC “Kiss 104.1” WALR-FM until last September and needed to sit out a six month non-compete before the Cumulus could debut the program in the Atlanta market.
Golden Isles Broadcasting has appointed Mark Eddis as Director of Programming for its three stations in Brunswick GA. Eddis will oversee Classic Hits “92.7 SSI” WSSI, Country “104.1 The Wave” WRJY, and CHR “Magic 105.9” WXMK. He previously served as Production Director for Alpha Media’s Savannah GA cluster and has also worked in Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Wilmington DE, and Charleston.
Sun & Fun Media and subsidiary Key Networks have announced the addition of iHeartMedia Albany/Columbus GA Market President Jennifer Newman as an account executive. Newman has overseen those clusters for the past eleven years and has previously held multiple other sales positions at iHeartMedia in those two markets including VP/Sales, GSM, and Traffic Manager.

Prior to that, she held positions including: Vice President of Sales, General Sales Manager, Account Executive, and Traffic Manager for iHeartMedia’s Columbus and Albany, GA, market. Newman has received numerous awards for her sales accomplishments and brings a long track record of direct sales and management experience to Sun & Fun Media and Key Networks.
The appointment comes on the heels of Key Networks’ recent announcement that it will syndicate a new 15-minute daily radio program, “The O’Reilly Update”, starring former cable news personality and bestselling author Bill O’Reilly.

RadioMixes®, a division of JamTraxx Media Inc., has launched a four-hour Latin Pop mix show produced by Paul “Pauly” Yates. Yates is a veteran mix show producer with credits on Radio Disney, The Hot Mix Radio Network, and numerous stations across both the country and the world.
