Walter Flakus Joins 107.7 The End
Entercom Alternative “107.7 The End” KNDD Seattle has announced the addition of Walter Flakus as APD/afternoon host starting August 6.
Flakus, formerly of the band Stabbing Westword, most recently served as APD/MD of 101.1 WKQX and MD/on-air at “97.9 The Loop” WLUP Chicago. He also served as MD of XM Radio’s Ethel and Fred Alternative channels and on-air at “Channel 103.1” WHRL Albany.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., today announced Walter Flakus has been named Assistant Program Director and afternoon drive host for 107.7 The End (KNDD-FM), Seattle’s only alternative station and the place for new music discovery. Flakus will be on air weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. PT, effective August 6.

I guess now it’s time to invest in a rain jacket.”
Prior to joining Entercom, Flakus held various roles at WKQX-FM in Chicago including Assistant Program Director, Music Director and on-air personality. He also served as Music Director for WLUP-FM in Chicago, Sirius XM Satellite Radio and WGY-FM (then WHRL-FM) in Albany, NY.
