Round Of Cuts At Mid-West Family Broadcasting Madison

Q106 106.3 WWQM MadisonA round of downsizing has taken place at Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s Madison WI cluster.

‘Super Dave’ Ogden exits after seven years with Country “Q106” WWQM. Ogden served as Promotions Director and midday host and just added Assistant Program Director duties this past June.

Jason Ryan is out as night host at WWQM and cluster afternoon traffic reporter. Prior to joining WWQM in March 2016, Ryan briefly co-hosted mornings at Entercom Hot AC “Mix 105.1” WMHX and worked in Janesville and worked at multiple stations in the Janesville market.

The exits of Ogden and Ryan follow the departure of afternoon host Cora Quinn last month after a six month run in that daypart. Morning hosts Jackson Jones and Steph Peters are currently the only on-air staffers at WWQM.

Over at AC “Magic 98” 98.1 WMGN, Julie Jacobs is out as 12-3pm host. Jacobs joined WMGN in November 2017 after previously working at Country 99.9 WJVL Janesville and 97.7 WGLR Lancaster WI.
