The buyers began operating WHAT via Time Brokerage Agreement in March, at which time it relaunched the station under its current format. Martinez also owns Spanish CHR “Mega” 1400 WEST/105.5 W288DS Easton/99.5 W258BM Bethlehem, 1600 WHOL/106.9 W295CR Allentown, which is also heard on the leased 92.9 W225CF Reading via 100.7 WLEV-HD2 Allentown.
Adolfo DeLeon is selling his 50% stake in Lazo Media and its Spanish CHRs “Mega 97.7” WOXY-FM Mason/Cincinnati and “Mega 103.1” WVKO-FM Johnstown/Columbus OH. Roland Medrano’s Regal International LLC will increase its stake from 50% to 85%, while Claudia DeLeon will acquire 15%, with each paying $1 to Adolfo DeLeon.
Louis and Melanie Anzek’s Fun Media Group of Alabama will acquire Country 1380 WRAB/107.1 W296DM Arab AL from Reed Broadcasting for $100,000. A Time Brokerage Agreement went into effect on June 1. Louis Anzek also owns a 50% stake in Fun Media Group Inc. and its Classic Hits “Fun Radio 92.7” WAFN-FM Arab.
The Praise Network sells Southern Gospel 750 KMMJ/104.3 K282BR Grand Island NE to MyBridge Radio. The deal is structured with MyBridge being gifted the AM as a donation and paying $35,000 for the translator. MyBridge Radio, which owns a Christian network across the state of Nebraska, will utilize KMMJ as the flagship for a new Spanish Christian network.
