Following the move of James Kurdziel to KQRS Minneapolis in May, Cumulus Media Rock/Alternative “103.3 The Edge” WEDG Buffalo has looked within the building to fill the opening.
Joe Siragusa, Program Director of Classic Hits 104.1 WHTT, will add the programming duties for WEDG. Siragusa has programmed WHTT since 2001 and has also programmed Oldies stations WRQN Toledo, KGOR Omaha and WRCL Richmond in his career.
WEDG’s current Music Director and afternoon host Tiffany Bentley will rise to Assistant Program Director. Bentley joined WEDG in 2016 after spending two years hosting mornings at Entercom’s “107.7 Alternative Buffalo” WLKK. She also has hosted nights at “K-Rock” 100.9 WKRL/106.5 WKRH Syracuse and hosted a weekly show at 88.1 WDIY Allentown PA when she served as a music reporter and critic for the Lehigh Valley Express Times.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Joe Siragusa as Program Director for WEDG-FM/103.3 The Edge in Buffalo, NY. Cumulus also announced that it has named Tiffany Bentley as Assistant Program Director for the station.
Siragusa will continue to serve Cumulus Buffalo as Program Director for Classic Hits 104.1 WHTT-FM, a position he has held for almost 19 years. A 30-year radio programming veteran, Siragusa has programmed stations including: WRCL-FM, Richmond, VA; KGOR-FM, Omaha, NE; and WRQN-FM, Toledo, OH, among others.
In addition to her new duties as Assistant Program Director, Bentley will continue to serve 103.3 The Edge as Music Director and On-Air Personality, Afternoon Drive, positions she has held for over 4 years. Prior to that, she was On-Air Host, Mornings, on WLKK-FM in Buffalo. Bentley has also held programming and on-air positions at stations in Bethlehem, PA, and Syracuse, NY.
