Following Friday’s exit of Chris Tyler, Townsquare Media has promoted McConnell ‘Man @ Large’ Adams to Director of Content for its Lansing MI properties.
Adams has served as PD/morning host at CHR “97.5 Now-FM” WJIM-FM and PD of AC 99.1 WFMK since October 2017. He now adds oversight of Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ, Country 100.7 WITL, Sports “730 The Game” WVFN and Talk 1240 WJIM.
Adams previously has programmed KFAT/KWLF/KWDD Fairbanks AK and WYLT Fort Wayne IN. He has served as APD of KKDA Dallas, afternoon host at KGOT Anchorage and hosted nights at WDRQ and WHYT Detroit.
Townsquare Media Lansing has promoted McConnell Adams, Brand Manager of Top 40 WJiM (97.5 Now) and AC 99.1 WFMK, to Director of Content for the local media cluster effective immediately. He replaces Chris Tyler, who departs the Company. In his newly expanded role, Adams, who has been with Townsquare since 2017, will now annex operational oversight for all the cluster’s brands, which also include Country 100.7 WITL, Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ, Sports-Talk WVFN (730 The Game), and “Lansing’s BIG Talker,” WJIM-AM 1240.
