Andy Barber has retired from mornings at Griffin Communications Classic Hits “92.9 The Drive” KBEZ Tulsa ending a 50+ year radio career.
Barber has been a staple in Tulsa mornings since the early 1990s with stints at “106.9 K-Hits” KHTT, “92.1 Kiss-FM” KIZS, “Kool 106.1” KQLL, “Star 103.3” KJSR before joining KBEZ in 2013. The pre-Tulsa career for Barber dotted the country with stops in Wichita, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Seattle, Spokane, Los Angeles, Portland, Houston, Jacksonville, Salt Lake City, and Louisville.
Griffin is now opening the search for a new morning host “that speaks to our 35-54 year-old demo. Digital/Social Media skills are a must.
