Gregory Merilatt’s 4-Ks LLLP is selling the signals utilized by Sports “Mile High Sports Radio” 1340 KDCO and 104.7 K284CI Denver to separate buyers.
Spanish Christian operator El Sembrador Ministries will acquire 1340 KDCO for $420,000. The translator will go to Rocky Mountain Public Media for $680,000 to rebroadcast one of its HD subchannels either Hip Hop “The Drop” 89.3 KUVO-HD2 or “Denver Open Media“, which is currently on 92.9 K225BS Denver/KUVO-HD3.
KDCO/K284CI have been operated under LMA to Nate Lundy’s Flying Penguin Productions since September 2017 with a $6000 per month fee for 2020. Operating in tandem with Mile High Sports Magazine, “Mile High Sports Radio” has bounced around the Denver radio dial. Originally launching on 1510 KCKK/93.7 K229BS in 2007, the brand moved to 94.1 K284BR/107.5 KQKS-HD2 in 2013 and 1340 KDCO in 2015 before adding its current translator the following year. No word yet on whether the brand will find yet another home.
