Beasley Media Sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM Burlington NJ/Philadelphia is preparing a change in mornings as Marc Farzetta has been let go after a little over two years in the time slot.
Farzetta and former Philadelphia Eagles lineman Tra Thomas joined WPEN-FM in October 2018. Thomas had exited in a budgetary related cut in March. Prior to joining The Fanatic, Farzetta spent 13 years at crosstown 94.1 WIP as a producer and co-host and hosted “Philly Sports Talk” on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Co-hosts Bob Cooney and Jaime Lynch remain in place, although rumors for months have spread about the station making a change in the daypart. WFAN New York afternoon host Craig Carton was rumored to have been offered the slot prior to making his return to WFAN and multiple sites indicate that former “680 The Fan” WCNN Atlanta morning host John Kincade, himself an alum of WIP, is likely to be the next morning host at WPEN-FM.
