Oregon Public Broadcasting has announced it will be shutting down the HD2/streaming Adult Alternative “opbmusic” on Friday, December 11.
opbmusic launched in 2007 and aired on 91.5 KOPB-HD2 Portland as well as in overnights on 88.5 KMUZ Turner/100.7 K264AA Salem OR. The station states some features such as their currently on hiatus studio sessions and “Monday Mix” will continue, while the organization will “devote our resources to broader music and arts coverage across OPB’s platforms”.
