KLIF-FM Applies For Signal Boost

I93 I93.3 KLIF KLIF-FM Haltom City Dallas Fort Worth Bert Show Adam BombCumulus CHR “I93” KLIF-FM Haltom City, TX has applied to increase its signal coverage in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.

The application would shift KLIF-FM eleven miles east to the Bank of America Building in Dallas where it would operate with 16.5kW at 264 meters. The station currently runs with 50kW at 120 meters. The application increases KLIF-FM’s signal contour to the 52km maximum allowed for a Class C2 where it will improve coverage of the station in the fast growing northeastern suburbs of Dallas, in towns like Allen, Frisco, and Plano.

KLIF-FM has programmed a CHR format as “I93” since September of 2009. In the March 2013 PPM monthly it registered a 2.0 share of the Dallas audience.
