With Life On The Way Communications applying to relocate 91.1 K216FM Valley Village, CA southward within Los Angeles to a tower near Culver City, 91.9 K220HC Sun Valley is now applying to relocate to K216FM’s currently licensed site in the Hollywood Hills where it will operate with 10 watts.
Clear Channel continues its slow move of 94.3 W232CB Frederick, MD towards Washington DC. After completing its previous move, the translator has applied to relocate to a tower off of I-370 between Gaithersburg and Rockville with 235 watts.
Common Frequency, Inc. has applied to move silent 91.1 KXRY Portland to 101.5. The Class D had been bumped from 97.9 (then KRRC) to 91.1 by the move-in of 97.9 KXPC into the market. The move will see the station operate with 63 watts at 28.7 meters.
Cox has exercised its option to purchase 106.1 W291CI Jacksonville from Victor M. Vickers for $350,000. Cox has been operating the translator since it debuted at the start of this year as Urban “Power 106.1” rebroadcasting 96.9 WJGL-HD2.
L&L Broadcasting has proposed to increase the power of its recently acquired 100.1 WSSJ Rincon/Savannah, GA from a class C2 to C1 with 100kW at 142 meters from a tower site just over the South Carolina stateline overlooking downtown Savannah.
Kevin Fitzgerald has applied to relocate 106.5 W293BW Germansville, PA to Schnecksville just outside Allentown. It will operate with 9 watts horizontal and 12 watts vertical from the tower of 90.3 WLHI Schnecksville.
Telesouth Communications has proposed moving “Supertalk North Mississippi” 105.5 WTNM Water Valley, MS to 94.7 where it will operate with 3.2kW at 132 meters. In order for the move to happen, Telesouth is proposing for the vacant 94.5 allocation in Bruce, MS to be transferred to 104.7.
