FCC Applications 9/25
New Wavo Communications has applied to increase “K-Star Country” 99.7 KVST Willis, TX from a Class A operating with 2.9kW at 147 meters to a C2 with 11kW at 147 meters. The upgraded signal would increase the station’s signal in the northern suburbs of Houston including Conroe and The Woodlands.
A pair of translators in Oklahoma City are seeking to relocate to the tower of Tyler Media’s 107.7 KRXO. Fred & Evelyn Morton’s 92.9 K229BN, which currently rebroadcasts Tyler’s “Comedy 1560” KEBC seeks to increase from 75 to 200 watts, while The Love Station’s 103.1 K276EX will jump from 75 to 99 watts. Both translator applications seek to rebroadcast a subchannel of Tyler’s 92.5 KOMA. They will join Tyler’s existing “Now 96.5” K243BJ and “104.5 KRXO” K283BW on the 107.7 KRXO tower.
Salem Christian Talk 1210 KPRZ San Marcos, CA will gain an FM signal in San Diego’s North County as Kevin Younger’s 99.9 K260BY San Diego has applied to upgrade from 7 watts to 240.
CTC Media group has applied to move its recently granted 97.1 W246CL New Bern, NC to just south of Kinston, NC where it would operate with 250 watts rebroadcasting Talk 1450 WNOS New Bern.
Amaturo Sonoma Media Group has agreed to purchase 107.9 K300AO Santa Rosa, CA for $125,000. Amaturo will use the 10 watt translator to rebroadcast News/Talk 1350 KSRO.

- Charles Williamson adds 93.3 W227CM Port Jervis, NY rebroadcasting 89.3 WLJP Monroe with 10 watts, 98.9 W255CM Port Jervis simulcasting 88.9 WRPJ with 10 watts, 99.9 W260CI Middletown, NY with 55 watts relaying WRPJ, 105.1 W285CJ Milford, PA using 10 watts to relay 88.1 WGWR Liberty, NY, and 105.9 W290CK Milford with 10 watts simulcasting 88.1 WNYX Montgomery, NY.
- Educational Media Foundation’s 94.3 W232CH Raleigh, NC will rebroadcasting Clear Channel’s 93.9 WKSL-HD3 with 97 watts.
- Cromwell Broadcasting will gain an FM for its Sports 830 WQZQ Goodlettsville, TN on 94.9 W235BW Nashville with 250 watts.
