Twenty One Sound Communications has launched AAA “104.3 FMX” KKAC Vandalia/Hannibal, MO.
The station had been off the air since the beginning of 2013 with Owner/GM Randy Wachter citing lack of finances and health issues in the STA applications preventing him to operate the station. It most recently operated an AC format as “104.3 The Oasis“.
The new format is launching with the prerequisite 10,000 songs-in-a-row from a music library stretching from the 1970s to present. The station has put out a request on its website seeking “financially qualified investors or an honest bank” to invest in the company likely to help rectify the lack of finances issue mentioned above.
In addition to KKAC, Wachter owns four other stations in Missouri that are all currently silent: 93.3 KQQX Hermann, 101.7 KQXQ Cuba, 101.7 KXQX Elsberry, and 102.3 KIXK Wheatland.
