Former Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Kordell Stewart has departed his slot as co-host of CBS Sports “92.9 The Game” WZGC Atlanta.
Stewart had been with the station since its launch in October 2012. Stewart wrote on the station’s website:
The last two years at 92-9 The Game has been a fun ride.
I am now in the process of making a transition to pursue other opportunities.
I have enjoyed being a part of an upstart radio program.
I will miss my co-workers, but most of all the loyal listeners of 92-9 The Game.
You made it fun to come to work each day.
Thank you for your support!
Replacing Stewart as Carl Dukes’ co-host will be Marc James. James will be incoming from sister “610 The Fan” WFNZ Charlotte. He previously hosted at Sports stations in Tampa and Miami.
Also joining WZGC is Mark Zinno from sister “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM Baltimore. Zinno, who had been hosting late-nights in Baltimore, will take the 6-10pm slot that had been vacated by Jason Goff earlier this year.
