92.7 New York WQBU Garden City FCC Translator Application Construction Permit CPUnivision’s Manhattan booster for Regional Mexican “92.7 Nueva York” WQBU Garden City is looking to cross the street, literally. WQBU-1 is applying to move from 450 W. 33rd Street to 460 W. 34th St with an increase from 80 watts to 99 watts at 76 meters continuing to utilize a directional array (Coverage Map).

Educational Media Foundation’s 90.9 WKTZ-FM Jacksonville, FL also seeks to move across the street. WKTZ-FM will shift from its current tower where it operates with 50kW at 141 meters to 41kW at 166 meters (Coverage Map).

Auburn University’s 91.1 WEGL Auburn, AL applies to increase from a Class A with 3kW at 65 meters to a C3 with 15kW at 94.2 meters (Coverage Map).

Wagonwheel Communications Country 92.1 KFRZ Green River, WY applies to downgrade their signal from a Class C with 90kW at 347 meters to a C1 with 11kW from the same antenna height (Coverage Map).

Light of Life Ministries won the rights to what became 91.5 WWRN Rockport, MA in a 2007 filing window because UMass Boston’s application inadvertently placed its proposed coordinates in Quebec due to a typo. After filing an appeal, UMass Boston’s application has been returned to a pending state. In order to potentially allow UMass to be granted a CP and keep WWRN on the air, Light of Life has applied to relocate WWRN to 88.5 with an increase from 530 to 750 watts while retaining its existing 57 meter antenna height (Coverage Map).

Translator Applications

iHeartMedia’s pending application of 102.9 W275AZ Wesley Chapel South, FL from Reach Communications seeks a new tower location in the Tampa market. W275AZ will operate with 165 watts at 176 meters rebroadcasting an HD subchannel of 103.5 WFUS (Coverage Map).

Hernando Broadcasting has applied to modify both of its translators for News/Talk 1450 WWJB Brooksville, FL by swapping locations. 101.1 W266AI Spring Hill will increase to 250 watts at 51 meters in Brooksville (Coverage Map), while 103.9 W280DK Brooksville will move to Spring Hill with 250 watts at 83 meters (Coverage Map).

Radio Assist Ministry’s CP for 101.9 W270CE Rome, GA applies to relocate to Rockmart with 240 watts at 95 meters rebroadcasting Heirborn Ministries’ 1220 WZOT Rockmart (Coverage Map).

Calvary Chapel of Twin Falls’ 88.3 W202BA Warner Robins, GA seeks to slide over to 88.5 with an increase to 19 watts at 83 meters (Coverage Map) rebroadcasting KAWZ Twin Falls, ID.

Zimmer Radio’s 100.9 K265CT Jefferson City, MO applies to increase power to 250 watts at 92 meters while continuing to rebroadcast News/Talk 950 KWOS Jefferson City (Coverage Map).

E-String Wireless has completed the relocation of its 97.1 K246CF Beaumont, TX to 107.7 and concurrently filed an application to move the translator to 107.5 with 99 watts at 89 meters rebroadcasting Gospel 990 KZZB Beaumont (Coverage Map).
