[membership level="0"][button-blue url="http://radioinsight.com/subscribe/" target="_self" position="center"]Click Here To Subscribe To Read This Article[/button-blue][/membership] [membership level="2,3"] The applications submitted to the FCC on Monday will see Actualidad's three stations swap city-of-licenses and tower sites to increase operating power. 990 WMYM Miami would move south to Kendall while increasing from 5kW day and night to 7.5kW day and 5kW night utilizing the six tower array currently home to 1020 WURN. 1020 WURN Kendall would make the move up to Boynton Beach in Palm Beach County while shifting from its current 8.9kW daytime and 980 watts nighttime to 4.5kW day and 1.5kW nights. 1040 WLVJ Boynton Beach will finish the three-way shift by moving to Miami and the six towers currently used by WMYM. WLVJ would move from 25kW days and 1.1kW nights to 50kW day and 5kW night. All three stations will utilize different directional patterns in their day and night operations. Actualidad purchased 990 WMYM Miami <a href="http://radioinsight.com/blog/headlines/91996/station-sales-week-of-213/">earlier this year</a> from Radio Disney for $2.1 million. 1020 WURN, 1040 WLVJ, and 107.1 WURN-FM Key Largo currently air a Spanish News/Talk format as "<a href="http://www.actualidadmiami.com/">Radio Actualidad</a>".
