CBS Radio Sports 94.1 WIP Philadelphia has brought in two replacements for recently departed afternoon co-host Tony Bruno.
WIP Program Director Spike Eskin and former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Hollis Thomas will join incumbent Josh Innes on the “Josh Innes Show”. The trio will be heard weekdays from 1-6pm starting Monday, August 17.
Eskin is the son of Howard Eskin, who spent over two and a half decades in afternoons at WIP before retiring in 2011 just as the station moved from 610 AM to 94.1 FM. Before joining WIP himself in 2012 as Social Media Director and fill-in host, Spike Eskin previously worked on-air and as APD/MD at predecessor Active Rock WYSP and Alternative “Q101” WKQX Chicago. Eskin was promoted to Program Director in March 2014. Thomas played in the NFL from 1996 until 2009, with most of those years in Philadelphia and has been a part-time contributor to the station the past couple years.
