The first major person to follow Lew and John Dickey out at Cumulus is Jan Jeffries, Senior Vice President of Programming/Program Director of Hot AC “All The Hits 107.3” WRQX Washington DC.
Jeffries had served as SVP/Programming for Cumulus since 2007 and at one point was heavily involved in the on-air sound of all of the company’s music stations. While with the company he has also served as day-to-day PD of CHR “i106.7” WNFN Nashville and Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago. Prior to joining Cumulus, the longtime radio veteran programmed at WABB Mobile, WBSB Baltimore, WCGO and WLS Chicago, WRBQ Tampa, and WSTR Atlanta, ran his own consulting company and served as President of Stratford Research.
Jeffries had transferred from WLS-FM to WRQX in July.
Buh bye!
Lance, this is a prime post for the allowing of photo comments. LOL
But, instead…. Bon voyage, tool!
Well, he lasted longer than former WRQX morning guy Jack Diamond did at Jack’s last three gigs….
Its looks like we’ll finally see several of the Cumulus stations that put the Jan Jeffries mandate in place go away.
Bye Felicia! Don’t hit the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!
