Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed John Boyle to Operations Manager/Program Director for NASH FM 92.3/WRKN-FM and 106.1 the Underground/WZRH-FM in New Orleans. Boyle segues from his previous role as the first Program Director of Cumulus’ Melbourne, FL, station 95 ROCK/WSJZ. Prior to that, he was Promotion Director and Director and Producer of Artist Performance Videos for Entercom Sacramento’s six-station cluster. Boyle has also held Program Director positions in San Luis Obispo, CA (KZOZ), Bakersfield, CA (KKXX), and Lansing, MI (WWDX).
Pat Galloway, Vice President/Market Manager of Cumulus Media New Orleans said: “We at Cumulus New Orleans are very excited to have John Boyle join us as Program Director of 106.1 the Underground, and NASH FM 92.3. John’s experience and leadership qualities will take these stations to new levels of performance. We are very happy to keep John in the Cumulus family.”
Boyle said: “It’s a tremendous honor and great privilege to join the talented New Orleans Cumulus crew. Many thanks to Mike McVay, Troy Hanson, Charlie Cook and Pat Galloway. Even in my wildest dreams, and there have been some doozies, I never thought I’d get the opportunity to work in The Crescent City.”
