Martz Communications’ Radio Power Inc. is preparing to relaunch its “104.7 The Oasis” Detroit on 92.7 following being forced off the air in October. All references on the station’s website have been changed to 92.7. The translator to be used is the former 97.5 W248AQ Harrison, MI which is awaiting approval to move to 92.7 in Detroit with 250 watts.
Martz has almost gotten one of its translators into Memphis. 103.1 W276BH Byhalia, MS. Its has now applied to make the final move where it will operate with 250 watts from a site east of the city. The translator is currently licensed to rebroadcast 90.1 WKNO, but that will shift to a commercial outlet when ready to launch.
Anchor Radio Gospel 1350 WLOU Louisville, KY adds a pair of translators on each side of the city. 104.7 W284AD New Albany, IN operates with 7 watts on the southwest side of the city. W284AM Middletown, KY has 24 watts on the east side of Louisville.
Digital Radio Broadcasting’s 106.5 W293AE Newburgh, NY has been granted a CP to increase power from 10 to 99 watts. The translator will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Sunrise Broadcasting’s 103.1 WJGK.
Reach Communications’ 103.9 W280DU Greenacres/West Palm Beach, FL has a CP to boost from 10 to 250 watts with programming originating from Clear Channel’s 98.7 WKGR.
PMB Broadcasting will soon gain another signal in Columbus, GA. Edgewater Broadcasting has been granted a CP to increase 107.7 W299AX Columbus from 10 to 250 watts. PMB’s “Kissin 99.3” WKCN will be the originating station, likely via an HD subchannel.
