Alexandra Communications has flipped AAA “100.1 The Oasis” KQFO Pasco/Kennewick/Richland WA to Classic Rock “OZ 100“. The new format duplicates the format and branding of recently launched sister “OZ 95.7” 1330 KYOZ/K239CL Spokane. It creates a direct format competitor to Ingstad Radio Washington’s “Eagle 106.5” KEGX Richland. The AAA format had debuted in February of this year when the station moved from 93.7 to 100.1. The AAA format will continue to be heard in the nearby Walla Walla market on 104.5 K283BU/KZIU-HD4 although that translator has a CP to relocate to 103.5 in Spokane.
