WSHE Revamps Lineup With Jenny Milk & Jay Styles Joining For Afternoons

Following the resignation of Cara Carriveau from afternoons on Friday, Hubbard Radio AC 100.3 WSHE-FM Chicago has announced that Jenny ‘Milk’ Milkowski and Jay Styles will take over the daypart starting March 29. Milkowski most recently served as a traffic reporter for “Fox 32” WFLD-TV while Styles had served as the local producer/host for the Brooke & Jubal show in mornings on WSHE-FM He previously served as Music Director/Afternoon Host for Entercom Hot AC “Mix 94.7” KAMX Austin and has also worked in Jacksonville, Tampa, Mobile, Roanoke, and the Cayman Islands. Cara Carriveau Resigns From Afternoons At 100.3 WSHE Chicago

Hubbard Radio Chicago has announced that Cara Carriveau has submitted her resignation from afternoons at AC 100.3 WSHE-FM Chicago following the conclusion of today’s show. Carriveau has been in afternoons at WSHE since the brand’s launch in March 2015 after previously hosting nights and afternoons on predecessor WILV. She moved to 100.3 in 2013 after hosting middays on sister Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX from 2008 and has also worked in the market on “Rock 103.5” WRCX, Classic Rock “97.9 The Loop” WLUP and multiple suburban Chicago stations. Hubbard Promotes Jeff England To Chicago VP/Market Manager

Hubbard Radio Chicago has named Jeff England as its new VP/Market Manager overseeing Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” 97.1 WDRV/96.9 WWDV, AC 100.3 WSHE, and Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX. England comes to Chicago from Hubbard’s Phoenix cluster where he was Director of Sales. Hubbard Names New PD And APD For WSHE-FM Chicago

Hubbard Radio AC 100.3 WSHE-FM Chicago has named Cat Thomas as their new Program Director and Paul Webber as APD for that station and sister Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV. Thomas joins Hubbard from Austin where he served as VP/Programming for Entercom’s cluster from 2007 until exiting this past summer. He also spent 12 years in Jacksonville as OM for Cox Media and PD of CHR 95.1 WAPE. Webber had been serving as Interim PD of WSHE-FM since the exit of Marty Bender in April in addition to serving as Direct Marketing Manager for Hubbard Chicago. Hubbard Radio has relaunched “Chicago’s 100.3” WILV as WSHE-FM. The rebranding gives the AC a solid branding position, which had been lacking since the then 80s centric station dropped its “Rewind” moniker in 2013. The SHE brand and WSHE-FM call letters had a long history at 103.5 in Miami and a brief run in the late 1990’s at 100.3 Orlando. WSHE-FM is currently running jockless to promote the new branding, but the existing airstaff will return. Chicago’s only true Adult Contemporary radio station targeted toward 25-54 year olds, WILV-FM, solidified its position today with a rebranding as Chicago’s 100.3 WSHE-FM. Hubbard Adult Hits “Rewind 100.3” WILV Chicago is undergoing a rebranding. Just as it has at two other times in recent history, WILV has dropped the “Rewind” moniker for just “Chicago’s 100.3“. The station also used the city and frequency name while evolving between formats in 1997 in between its “100.3 The Point” and “Windy 100” brands and in 2008-2010 between Rhythmic AC “Love-FM” and the launch of the then 80s centric “Rewind” identity. The current move comes as they station moves further away from its 80s base and added songs from the 2000s. Marty Bender Joins Rewind 100.3 Chicago As PD

Hubbard Radio has named Marty Bender as Program Director of AC “Rewind 100.3” WILV Chicago. Bender, who is best known for the twenty plus years overseeing Clear Channel’s “Q95” 94.7 WFBQ Indianapolis and the syndicated Bob & Tom Show, most recently oversaw the launch of AAA “87.7 Cleveland’s Sound” WLFM-LP Cleveland. He replaces Barry James who retired last month.
