Kevin Crockett Joins WLEV Allentown Morning Show

Cumulus AC 100.7 WLEV Allentown PA has appointed Kevin Crockett as its new morning co-host alongside Selena Robinson. Crockett replaces Scott Evans, who had hosted mornings at the station since 2011. Robinson joined the station in October 2016 when Josh Gears moved to afternoons. Crockett spent the past eight years as Executive Producer of the morning show at CBS Radio Classic Hits 98.1 WOGL Philadelphia. He has also worked at Country 92.5 WXTU and Rhythmic CHR “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia in his career. Jerry Padden Named WLEV PD; Sets New Lineup

Cumulus AC 100.7 WLEV Allentown PA has named Jerry Padden as its new Program Director. Padden already serves as cluster OM and PD/afternoon host of sister “Cat Country 96” WCTO Easton and fills the position previously filled by Laura St. James prior to her exit last week. Padden has been with WCTO since 2004, rising to PD in 2011. He previously spent 22 years at Entercom CHR 98.5 WKRZ Scranton including a run as Program Director. Along with Padden’s appointment, WLEV is restructuring its on-air lineup. Josh Guers moves from mornings to fill St. James previous afternoon shift. ESPN Goes To FM in Reading

Cumulus Sports “ESPN 1240” WIOV Reading, PA adds an FM simulcast via 98.5 W253AC. The translator had been used to rebroadcast sister AC 100.7 WLEV Allentown since 1995. Along with the change in originating stations, 98.5 has begun operating from its new facilities as it shifts to 1240’s tower in West Reading where it will operate with 100 watts.
